Season 2

Games. Every game is a 1v1 lockout on a base game board: once a player claims a square, the other can’t. A completed row, column or diagonal wins; if a player can no longer complete a line, the other wins by majority (13 squares). After two hours the player with the most squares wins, and equal squares is a draw.

Round robin. Each player plays every other player once, in a single game. The top three go on to the playoffs.

Playoffs. Best of three. 2nd plays 3rd in the semi-final, and the winner plays 1st in the final.
